My family and I have stayed here now 3 times in 3 years. This is an amazing resort for many reasons. First, the hotel architecture and grounds are beautiful, set on the picturesque south (quiet) end of the Chaweng Beach. Second, the personal service is incredible. The staff do everything to make you feel welcome and help you. If you have little children, as we do, this personal service is a huge plus. The staff of the hotel treated our kids as stars. In sum, this is a place where you can truly relax because you have a gorgeous beach and truly dedicated staff.

My sister & I stayed at the Banana Fan in August 2015 after a very tiring trip to China. My luggage didn’t arrive until the next day and the driver from the hotel took me back to the airport and back again at no charge. The staff here go above and beyond what is expected from a hotel. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely return.

What a wonderful 6 days at Koh Samui staying at this wonderful resort. The first thing that impressed us was the service from the airport. We were picked up by one of the staff in the shuttle, welcomed with refresher towels, bottles of cold water and a huge smile. Once arriving at the resort we were again greeted with more friendly staff and seated in the foyer to complete our check in details with a refreshing drink. This was completed quickly and we were taken to our room. It was a mother daughter trip and our companions (Brenda and Elke) were on their 4th visit. Their room had welcome home greetings on their beds. The stay continued to be wonderful. We enjoyed our time by the pool and at the beach. The staff always welcomed us warmly at the restaurant and organised outings for us at the tour desk. The Thai cooking class at Baitong Restaurant was wonderful. From start to finish – excellent! Will definitely be going back again.

My wife and I stayed here for our Honeymoon from September 19th 2015 to September 24th 2015. The resort is clean and beautiful. The beach was amazing. The water is calm and shallow and very warm. The hotel is located on the main tourist street so there is plenty to do at night. There are 2 night markets full of food vendors just a few blocks from the hotel. Both these night markets had very good traditional food at much cheaper prices than if you went to a sit down restaurant (Although the area has plenty of sit down places as well if you’re more into that). The staff is fantastic as well. One of the men in particular named Yut was amazing. A very friendly man, I told him that my wife and I loved this traditional Thai desert called kanom krok. We had tried to find the desert but we could not. Yut then told me he would get it for me and bring it to me in the morning. Yut then came in the next day even though it was his day off to give me the kanom krok. When I tried to give hi m a tip or pay for the desert he refused the money. Another great and thoughtful feature of the resort was on September 24th we had a very early departure flight. We had to leave at 4:30am from the hotel. The staff gave us 2 to go boxes of breakfast as we were leaving. All in all this is a great resort with a great location and simply amazing staff. I never write reviews but this place impressed me so much that I just had to.

Wir verbrachten nun schon zum vierten Mal unseren Urlaub im Banana Fan Sea Resort. Für uns gibt es nur Positives über diese Anlage zu berichten. Schon bei der Ankunft hatten wir das Gefühl wieder „daheim“ zu sein. Das Management, sowie das gesamte Personal sind sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Auf Wünsche und Anregungen seitens der Hotelgäste geht man hier ein. Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. Das Banana Fan Sea Resort liegt direkt am feinen, weißen Sandstrand und zählt unserer Meinung nach zu den schönsten Abschnitten der Chaweng Beach. Zahlreiche Restaurants, Bars, Einkaufs -und Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten befinden sich direkt in Hotelnähe. Der Weg durch die Hotelanlage führt durch einen traumhaft schönen, gepflegten Garten, eine „Oase der Ruhe“. Die Zimmer sind ansprechend und sauber. Das hoteleigene Restaurant „Baitong“ bietet eine gute und umfangreiche Auswahl an landestypischen und internationalen Gerichten. Wie viele andere Gäste, werden auch wir bestimmt wieder kommen. S&F

Our stay in Banana Fan Sea Resort was fantastic. Great staff smiling all day. Very nice rooms. Great pool and beautiful beach. We loved the massages on the beach. The food was great and the coocking class we would absolutely reccomend. Special thanks to Tom and One four our lovely tattoos. We will certainly come back to this lovely place.

I know the hotel now for 15 years, and I love it the same way as before. The location is perfect, the hotel is not too big, staff very attentive and super friendly, rooms very nice and located at one of the best beaches in Samui.

ALL ELEVEN OF US AGREE THAT OUR STAY AT BANANA FAN SEA RESORT WAS ONE OF THE MOST MEMORABLE HOLIDAY WE HAD FOR A LONG TIME. THE HOTEL IS ON THE BEST LOCATION ON CHAWENG BEACH WITH NICE ROOMS,POOL AND A VERY GOOD RESTAURANT. A VERY CLEAN, WELL MANAGED HOTEL WITH THE BEST STAFF WHO SERVE YOU WITH A SMILE EVERYTIME. WE ARRIVED ON THE 12TH APRIL2015 FOR A WEEK AND WHAT A PERFECT TIME! IT WAS SONGKRAN AND WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME.EVERYONE JOINED IN THE CELEBRATION AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET THE FUN AND LAUGHTER FOR THE REST OF OUR LIFE. We stayed during March, when the weather was lovely as were the surroundings. The accomodation was comfortable and well-kept and there was a good choice of food at the restaurant. The island is lovely and has lots of attractive activities in which tourists can participate. One of the best things, however, was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the resort. A grerat stay – thankyou.
